No. The closest target would be down town or at Cascade station.
Limited. There's about 5 or 6 spots in the lot, some on-street parking nearby.
Uncertain. Perhaps call as ahead. Very accomodating.
You can call them and ask or check their website you were looking at to get here.
I had the Charcuterie board for lunch and it was delicious.
The place is wonderful and roomy, the meals was yummy and the prices were very fair. rapidly, efficient service and very attentive waiters. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Laurelhurst Market continues to impress us each and every time we go back! Their service is absolutely incredible, friendly, fast, and truly care about their customers. The food is next to none, delicious sides, yummy drinks, and their meat selection is mouth watering. My husband and I come here anytime we can get a night away and are never disappointed!
Wonderful Food Served with Pride. Laurelhurst Market is a great place for dinner. Their food is really top notch. Their cocktails are excellent too. It's not a great place for young kids but ideal for couples. Try their carrots.
Great tasty burgers, friendly customer service and a really cozy place overall, highly reccomended!
The food was spectacular and the service was very nice. The wait for each dish was well paced and the quality was just superb. The place wasn't too loud and the lighting was a nice level of dimmness to create some privacy for each table. We ordered: harvest salad, ribeye (30oz), marrow bones, and roasted delicata squash. Dessert: dulce de leche semifreddo, and maple apple turnover cake (name may not be entirely correct. I forgot to take a picture of the dessert menu!)
Five stars. Every. Single. Time. Easily top five restaurants in Portland. Great service, remarkable food. I dine here on a regular basis. Their dining month menu for 2019 was top notch. I'm still talking about the garlic aioli.
Just visited the first time recently and our food was delicious! It was a little chilly in the restaurant but that didnt ruin the experience. The roasted pork cheeks and dulce de leche semifreddo were my favorites, but everything was good!
Excellent sausages. Excellent staff. Yummy sandwiches. Everything here is top notch.
Have been here for lunch a couple times, dinner a couple times, and once when I was making my own sausage and they helped me out with the meat portion of it. Staff has always been amazing. Possibly the best burger I've ever had was here.
Great date night! Delicious food and great salad bar, and Bailey took awesome care of us! Did I mention that the piano player takes requests?
We had the rib eye and the New York The meats themselves were wonderful cuts, texture and flavor was superb. The problem was the sauces - way too many flavors layered on, and the meat came pre cut so it was luke warm by the time we consumed it (medium rare, should be mix between hot exterior and cool interior, imo). Absolutely love the atmosphere so I hate to not give a five star review. But we unfortunately can not return due to the sauces and seasonings.
Spent most of our time in Bend hiking and fly fishing, but had an evening in Portland before our early morning flight back to Florida. Picked this based on pictures and reviews and so glad we did! Everything from start to finish was outstanding and just what we needed! The wine selection was great and enjoyed the endive and pickled veggie salad! We shared the flat iron steak alongside the roasted carrots and beets. We both loved the preparation & presentation. We will be back!
A friend of mine recommended this place. they are supposed to have the wagyu to die for. to be honest, it was tasty but we were not impressed. the appetizers weren't served until 25 minutes after the server took our order. then another 25 minutes for the entree. too be fair it was a busy Friday night so the wait didn't bother me too much. but the food just didn't taste as amazing as I expected. the service is satisfying though, like I said it was a busy Friday night so I understand the wait. the best part of the meal is Smoked Marrow Bones. juicy, greasy and so much flavor.
What an arrogant owner. We went to pick up our order this noon and found their employees w/o masks or gloves. We even saw one of the employees wipe his nose and go back to assembling a sandwich without washing his hands. We asked for a refund because we did not feel it was safe to eat there. The owner refused and proceeded to berate me. If you want to get exposed to the virus, by all means eat there. If not avoid this Petri dish at all costs.
Stopped by for a work lunch, having never been here before and only knowing they had sandwich options. Reading the menu, I was thrilled by the tasty sounding options. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Even the chips were good. I was impressed by lunch and will be returning to try their dinner options very soon.
It was our first time to Laurelhurst Market. Our waiter was NOT friendly. The steak was wonderful (we have the rib eye) but side portions were ok. I would give it more stars but I believe our experience with our waiter really toured us off from this place. Wine was amazing. For the money and poor customer service we likely would not go back. Sad but true.
Very very tasty, possibly the best pastrami sandwich I've had in years, and the SOD, chick pea and chicken, was superb.
Laurelhurst Market has been serving up the best creative plates on the east side for several years now, and have not lost the magic that made them the one of the best restaurants in town. Vegans may want to go elsewhere, but this place rocks the steak universe. Glad they're a fixture in the Laurelhurst neighborhood!
Yum!! Came in for lunch to grab a salad and a sandwich. Blown away by both. The ingredients were all fresh and great quality. The flavor of the meat was amazing and moist. Even the salad dressing on the chef salad was above and beyond. Can't wait to come back for dinner!
Giving this spot less than 5 stars would just feel wrong. Best service I’ve had maybe ever. Drinks were spectacular, food was so fresh and tasty. Overall experience = 6 stars. Really enjoyed my visit, thanks!
Laurelhurst Market is an excellent choice for a casual dinner out. The steaks I have had here have been high-quality and cooked to perfection. They also offer a beautiful selection of exciting side dishes to accompany your entree. The wait staff is professional and courteous. The in house meat market offers a great variety of charcuterie.
Lunch on the new patio was great. The ham and salami with provolone is still one of the best sandwiches in all of Portland.
The steak I had was moist and tender, the prices are more than fair and the people are kind!
Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere! I took my daughter here for her birthday and it was great!
Best hot pastrami sandwich I've had in my life. Wish they were a touch more generous with the chips though. Also, note that on Saturday, they open at 10 AM but begin making sandwiches at 11 AM.
This continues to be one of favorite neighborhood style place to get steaks. Not only do they have an amazing butcher block during the days, but their steaks are amazing and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with any of their steaks. Just make sure you order some of the sides to go with it - like the mac n cheese.
The following get my stamp of approval: waygu culotte steak, fried cauliflower, smoked marrow bones, crimini mushrooms and the beignets. Great service to accompany an excellent dinner.
We are grateful for how this establishment treated us. We felt safe. We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary tonight. It was a beautiful night with amazing service and incredible food. A huge thank you to all the staff who made it possible for us to celebrate our anniversary with amazing food and good people.
Delicious lunch menu with cold cut sandwiches served on Grand Central Bakery bread. Big fan of the fried chicken sandwich available on Tuesdays. **Request** Please add a changing table to one of the bathrooms so guests don't have to use the floor.
Awesome place! I fly to Portland once a year and always have to visit this place. The service is excellent and food is amazing. The "specials" they recommend is always so worth a try. We had a 60-day cured ribeye and it was enough to share with 2 people (with the side and appraiser). Pork chop I had was very nice too! It was so soft and flavorful. It came with beans with sausage bits which was strong as the pork chop. I'm always tempted to grab something to go from the meat shop - I wish I live in this area!We visited with a party of 5, and all meals came pre sliced (cut), ready to share. We had a wonderful time.
Come here very often. The service is wonderful and fast! They remembered me after the second time and always make me feel welcome when I come in. Tuesday's at the lunch counter is their fried chicken sandwich day and it is INCREDIBLE. I get it without the franks red hot, but that's just me. A fried chicken sandwich and a ginger beer is the perfect lunch there. Especially on a hot day!
Tuesday's only fried chicken. Available starting at 11 until sold out. Sold by the pound. Breading is crunchy with the right combination of salty, slight spiciness, and a hint of sweet. Took off a star because chicken was cold despite showing up promptly at 11. Hoping this is just a fluke since its the first time it happened to me. Definately worth a try. Sits amongst the better fried chickens in the city.
I did a bit of research during my first visit to Portland to choose Laurelhurst Market as my first dining experience here. If you are looking for top quality cuts of meat cooked properly, bartenders who create worthwhile cocktails and experiences, charcuterie, and a nice atmosphere - I think you've found it. Next time I hope I'll be in town long enough to bring back something from the butcher.
Probably the best meal I've ever had. Definitely ask for recommendations, the staff is attentive, friendly, & knowledgeable.
Fine charcuterie made into a wonderful pastrami sandwich.
The review was post CovidThey built an awesome patio out front and we ate on a Friday evening. We were a party of 6 and called ahead so they set up a separate table for us which was appreciated.I had the Ribeye and it was fantastic. They cut it before it came out which was unusual but great and the sides were good too. Most of the party got various steaks and everyone was happy and it was cooked the way they expected.
This is a wonderful steakhouse serving up almost any part of the cow you specify and how you want it cooked. It’s a must try for any carnivore, and don’t be afraid to get the toasted bone marrow or foie gras if it’s available! They also have a good selection of wine and beer as well as cocktails!
